  1. WHO WE ARE

    Horizon Holidays is a trading company used for the marketing of our mother company Horizon Concierge Ltd registered at with a company registration number of 09257180.

    This privacy policy has been prepared by Horizon Concierge Ltd to meet the requirements of the EU Regulation 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For the purposes of the GDPR, and other than as described below, Horizon Concierge Ltd will be the data controller of the personal data we process about you and is registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner’s Horizon Concierge Ltd in the UK (Registration Number: ZB554229).
    This privacy policy (together with our Terms of Use and any other documents referred to in it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that we receive about you from third parties, will be processed by us.

Horizon Concierge Ltd and its sister companies offer a wide range of services and products so that our customers can enjoy great holiday experiences in many different destinations, whether it is buying a residence abroad, sailing holidays, using our travel club, renting holiday accommodation or simply enjoying our great hospitality and management services, Horizon Concierge Ltd’s portfolio is extensive and has been put together with many years of experience in understanding how you want to holiday. From time to time we would like to share our experiences and promotions with you.
    • 3.4 If you have provided us with consent to do so, we may pass your details to named third parties, so that they can provide information about their products and services which may be of interest to you. They may contact you by post, telephone, email, SMS, video call or any other method to which you have agreed. These third party companies may or may not be based in the UK. Any products purchased or agreements made with any third party companies are liable directly with said company. Horizon Concierge Ltd accepts no responsibility for any agreements made exterior to our own company or internal group of companies which will be outlined at the time of purchase by ourselves if this applies.
    • 3.5 We use your personal data for a variety of different legal bases, including:
      • 3.5.1 for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract. If you do not provide such personal data we may not be able to satisfy our legal obligations to you under such contract;

This data will be supplied to said companies with clients consent and enable us to offer our products and services.   4. CONSEQUENCES OF NOT PROVIDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Therefore, we will not be able to offer all of our services without it.     • 5.1 We may analyse your personal data to create a profile of your interests and preferences so that we can tailor your holiday experiences and contact you with relevant information. We may make use of additional information about you when it is available from external sources to help us to do this effectively.
    • 5.2 To the extent that we create and store your profile we do not take decisions about you which are based solely on automated processing of your personal data.
    • 5.3 When we use your personal data to create your profile the following shall apply:
      • 5.3.1 clear information explaining how we compile your profile shall be provided to you, including the significance and likely consequences of creating a profile;
      • 5.3.2 the personal data we hold about you which relates to your holiday interests and preferences will be used by our team to create a profile for you which we will then use to provide you with suggested holidays and offers which we think may be of interest to you;
      • 5.3.3 all decisions in relation to the offers and suggestions we provide to you will be made by an individual who works for us and will not be based on any automated decision making software.


  7. WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND SECURITY

    • 6.1 All information you provide to us is, as far as reasonably practicable, stored on our, our parent’s or sister companies’ secure servers or trusted internet service providers (ISP).
    • 6.2 Horizon Concierge Ltd takes your privacy seriously and take every reasonable measure and precaution to protect and secure your personal data. We work hard to protect you and your information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction and have several layers of security measures in place including encryptions, practices, restrictions, IT and authentication procedures.
    • 6.3 Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Site; any transmission is at your own risk.
    • 6.4 Where you have consented to share your photos, recordings, videos and other materials with us, the terms of such consent will provide us with the right to use them in promotions now and for a reasonable period in the future on our websites, social media pages and any other promotional channels, for PR and advertising purposes.   9. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

    Horizon Concierge Ltd only ever retains personal data for as long as is necessary and we have strict review and retention policies in place to meet these obligations. Generally, where we have a contractual relationship with you, we will retain your data for a period of seven (7) years from the date our contractual relationship ends unless we are legally required to retain it for a longer period. Where you have consented to us using your details for direct marketing we will keep such data for 24 months from the date of your latest consent or until you notify us otherwise and withdraw your consent.
